Our Team

  • Tim Hartland

    Tim is the Managing Partner of CJCH Solicitors, specialising in Criminal Law and experience in Conveyancing. Having qualified as a solicitor in 1986, Tim has over 30 years experience in managing complex legal matters on behalf of his clients and is a founding member of the Firm. Tim also advises on Software Piracy matters, and IP Crime.

  • Stephen Clarke

    Stephen is a Senior Partner of CJCH Solicitors and CEO of CJCH Consulting. As a founding member of the Firm, Stephen focuses on Intellectual Property Law, Anti-Piracy and Licence Compliance, and Criminal Law, advising both individual and corporate clients. Stephen has been instrumental in establishing Wales as a centre for excellence in combating IP crime and Software Piracy analytics.

  • Jacqui Seal

    Jacqui is a Senior Partner at CJCH Solicitors, having spent much of her earlier career with the Crown Prosecution Services. She specialises in Criminal Law and Military Law, advising and representing individual clients.

  • Nick Wootton

    Nick is the firms Chief Financial Officer and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions. Before joining CJCH he spent over 20 years in various senior positions within Deloitte and was instrumental in the merger between Colin Jones Solicitors with Clarke and Hartland Solicitors.

  • Jodi Winter

    Jodi is Head of Department for Family and Children Law and a partner at CJCH. She advises and represents both individual and corporate clients and with over 17 years experience, she specialises in a number of areas including Family Law, Public Sector and Mental Health Law.

  • Amy Roberts-Rees

    Amy is the Partner in charge of the Court of Protection (CoP) and Mental Health Law department having established the offering at the firm. Amy has been a Solicitor at CJCH for over 4 years, and has been specialising in the areas of Mental Health Law and Court of Protection for Welfare for over 8 years.

  • Howard Patchell

    Howard has an extensive career in law, having serviced the Blackwood and surrounding communities for well over 35 years. As a named founding and named partner of Patchell Davies Solicitors, Howard was instrumental in the acquisition of Patchell Davies into CJCH Solicitors and is now a Partner of CJCH, managing the Blackwood office. Howard advises clients in the areas of Conveyancing, Private Client matters including Wills and Probate.

  • John Moyle

    John is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, accredited police station representative and partner solicitor at CJCH, having been with the firm since 1994. John’s specialisation is criminal litigation and he advises clients in criminal investigations, offences and preparation of defence in Crown Court proceedings.

  • Keith James

    Keith is a Partner at CJCH having been with the firm for 4 years. He has over 25 years legal experience and has focused on Mental Health law for the last 18 years.

  • Graeme Davies

    Graeme is a well-known solicitor in the South Wales region and has provided legal services for well over 30 years. He is the partner in charge of litigation and dispute resolution and also advises his clients in the areas of family and matrimonial law. Graeme joined the CJCH team in 2017 as a partner after Patchell Davies Solicitors, a highly respected Caerphilly firm at which he was a named partner, was acquired by CJCH.

  • Nigel Daniel

    Nigel has over 25 years experience in Employment Law, and has been part of the CJCH team since 2012. Nigel specialises in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters including industrial relations, TUPE transfers, partnerships, shareholder agreements, internal disciplinary proceedings, contracts of employment and settlement agreements in addition, Nigel had four years as a trades union solicitor which gave him valuable experience in advising companies in trade union matters.

  • Luke Heydenrych

    Luke joined CJCH in 2016 within the Anti-Piracy and Licence Compliance team. With a background in management consulting and global system integration projects, Luke now leads various teams as Head of Operations for CJCH as well as consulting to technology and software clients for CJCH consulting. Luke is currently the Firm’s PhD candidate,  undertaking a doctorate in Law, specialising in Software Piracy and IP Cyber Crime.

  • Steve Rees

    Steve joined CJCH after an illustrious 30+ year career with the South Wales Police services. As a specialist in investigations and compliance, Steve now leads as Head of Anti-Piracy and Licence Compliance for the firm, specialising in Intellectual Property, Business Intelligence, Software Piracy and IP Crime.

  • Antony Crampton

    Tony joined CJCH in 2015. He has over 30 years’ experience in Identifying, developing and implementing bespoke investigative strategies so as to achieve solutions for client business requirements, especially concerning IP, Fraud, Compliance and Revenue protection. Having served in both the Metropolitan Police & City of London Police, Tony now leads the CJCH Consulting special projects unit, with a key focus on analysing Cyber Crime, Business Intelligence, and corporate investigations solutions.

  • Gareth Thompson

    Gareth joined CJCH in early 2017 and is a Senior Solicitor in the Commercial Department. With over 30 years experience, Gareth has assisted individual and corporate clients in a wide range of commercial, civil and employment matters. He has established CJCH’s mediation services and has an established reputation as a successful mediator.
